We learn on real devices, not slides
First two years — general engineering base (maths, physics, engineering drawing, programming). Then specialisation: robots, controllers, control systems.
Where students build projects
FabLab Bishkek
A production lab: 3D printers, electronics, soldering stations, prototyping tools. From the first year students turn ideas into working devices.
Automation lab
Stands with PLCs, sensors and actuators. Per the 2026–2030 strategy it will gain an IIoT/PLC stand.
Mechatronics lab
Educational robots, drives, microprocessor technology. A collaborative robot is planned.
Computer labs
CAD systems (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor), modeling environments, programming.
Student projects
Smart greenhouse
Automatic watering and telemetry on a controller.
Mobile robot with computer vision
Navigation and object recognition.
AI document workflow for a government body
Automating an institution's processes with AI.
Mini-production dispatch stand
SCADA on a PLC.
Updated with real projects, photos and authors each semester.
Technologies we teach
Artificial intelligence — part of engineering work
- →computer vision for quality control and robot navigation
- →AI assistants for preparing technical and research documentation
- →analysis of production process data
- →automation of KR government bodies' processes
- →artificial intelligence methods in automation and robotics (700500 master's course)
- →AI analysis of medical images: X-ray and CT
Industrial practice — from the 2nd–3rd year at partner enterprises. Employers invite the best students to work before graduation. Diploma projects address real company and government tasks (capstone format).
